Depending on the implant, what will be sharp without glasses?
Monofocal: distance vision is sharp without glasses. For reading up close, and often for the screen, glasses are still useful.
EDOF: distance vision and intermediate vision (screen) are sharp. Fine reading up close may still require glasses.
Multifocal: all three distances can be sharp without glasses. Halos are possible at night in distance vision; reading up close is more comfortable in good light.
