Authenticity check

Verify the authenticity of a quote

Have you received a fee quote issued by this site? Enter the details shown on it: the control code is recalculated and compared with the one on the document. The last name, first name and date of birth are not stored.

1. The quote

At the top right of the document. Fields marked are required.

In the format DEV-2026-00012.

8 characters, below the number and the date.

2. The patient and the amount

As shown on the quote, including accents.

Amount on the “Surgeon’s fees” line (“Honoraires du chirurgien” on the French page), without cents (example: 2100).

The information entered is used to recalculate the control code. The last name, first name and date of birth are neither stored nor logged; the site’s log records no identity data: it notes the quote number, the amounts, the code, the result, the page language, the timestamp and, if the quote is found, its technique.

What this check verifies

Every quote issued on this site carries an 8-character control code, calculated by the server from the quote number, last name, first name, date of birth and fee amount, using a key known only to the server. The site keeps no archive of quotes in patients’ names: this code takes its place. If the code matches the information entered, a quote bearing that number, that identity and that fee amount was indeed issued here; the code does not cover the other details on the document.

When the code matches, the page also displays the date of issue, the technique and the amounts recorded, with no identity details, in the site’s log (kept for 13 months) when the quote was created, so that they can be compared with the document.

What it does not verify

An authentic quote is still a fee quote drawn up before any consultation, based on the published prices. It is not a decision to operate, nor a commitment to cover the cost: the indication for surgery is confirmed at the consultation, after an examination, and any contribution depends solely on the benefits of the policy taken out with the health insurer.

Who this page is for

For health insurers that receive a quote, whether French complementary health insurers (“mutuelles”) or private or international health insurers, and for the practice when a patient presents a document. The last name, first name and date of birth entered are neither stored nor passed on: they are used for the calculation, then discarded. If you have any questions, contact the practice.
